But I love it too, the way she turns up to work in the wierdest clothes. I've never been into romance comedies but Bridget Jones is a total exception so... She's not a perfect person, I agree. In the movie, she's not thin or attractive or young like those korean love dramas I hate that fall into a silly love. It's more realistic (: lol, I must’ve watched that more than 5years ago. She's so real, so artless, I suppose, and as you say, despite her not being perfect, and even imperfect in her flaws, she <em>is</em> perfect because she is, ultimately who we all want to be because she's accepted for who she is by someone whom she loves (or learns to) and loves her back, in a way. I never did like BJ2 as much, though; it seemed less real than the first. Still, the doubts she has is still relatable. Bridget Jones’ Diary has to be one of my favorite films.
