So I decided that I really needed to get into “exam mode” and start seriously studying. I planned to wake up early and spend the entire day at the library (it’s open from 8am to 2am). Needless to say, my plan failed. Here’s some evidence of my so-called “studying” (I made these notes in Microsoft OneNote when I was supposed to be taking notes. And yes these are DIRECT quotes ladies and gentlemen. This is as close as you can get to a LIVE blog):
2:33pm
My ears are bleeding.
2:39pm
This website is hilarious! What kind of freak is he married to? <– a serious question.
3:10pm
Coffee = waiting in line
Waiting in line at Timmy’s
Waiting in line for washroom
Waiting in line to wash hands
Girl in line before me comes out of the stall and exclaims “It won’t stop flushing!”
Uh, what’s the problem? Is there toilet water getting on your ass? No? Well, then, what’s the big deal? There are five people waiting in line for a two-stall bathroom, and now you’re claiming one to be out of order because the toilet is continuously flushing?
3:46pm
There are a couple things that have the potential to TOTALLY MAKE MY DAY.
- Finding money on the street (anything more impressive than a penny, because copper just doesn’t do it for me)
- Listening to Spice Girls, S Club 7, or Prozzak
- Having delicious dessert (at any time)
- Finding a use for a font that I particularly love
- Reading a really good blog entry/article/book/one hilarious line that can make me laugh my ass off and fart at the same time
The last one is distinctly sad.
You know, the more I blog, the more I realize how pathetic my life is. Why are these things called blogs anyway? They should be called “the pathetic highlights of my life.”
5:00pm
I have been at the library for 8 hours now and I have spent at least 6 of it doing blog-related things.
5:11pm
That’s it. I’ve done it. I’m going to turn off the wireless receiver. NO MORE INTERNET FOR ME!
5:37pm
Nevermind. Internet = life.
7:02pm
Omg I’m thirsty. Omg. Need fluids.
7:10pm
Holy shit this “Soup at Hand” stuff is amazing! Where have you been all my life?
9:00pm
Good Lord, I’ve been at the library for 12 hours. Just thinking about it makes me hungry. But I can’t go back yet, I’m on a roll! I haven’t checked my email/facebook/blog in nearly two hours!
9:19pm
Argh, stupid thoughts of food broke my roll. Now the only roll I can think of are sushi rolls. Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck. Need. To. Finish. Business.
9:26pm
I just found out, thanks to Google, that the type of tea I really like (the type they usually serve at Japanese restaurants) is Brown Rice Tea, which may or may not be mixed with bits of green tea. So that’s why it always has that burnt rice aroma that I love!
Note to self: stock up on Brown Rice Tea when I move into new apartment.
9:32pm
Going back to res now to watch Friends. :D

AAHHH!!! Kitties are taking over the world! I wonder if his wife knows about his blog?
The stress will kick in sooner or later. And by then, you’ll cram just enough in.

OMG I am laughing so hard, because I was flipping through my OneNote notes at like 4am last night muttering to myself why my notes looked remarkably similar to that when I needed bits and pieces of info to study for my exam at 8am.
And I have 2 more tomorrow. *le sigh* The only thing that’s keeping me sane? IT’LL ALL BE OVER SOON AND I CAN SLEEP.
I have high hopes for this sleep business.

Haha, don’t you love it when planned study sessions turn out to be the way they do? I can’t study when I plan to study…I don’t know how to explain it. Lol, I have to just spontaneously start out of nowhwere. If I reserve time and stuff to do it, I’ll just sit there and waste time. XD I hope you can buckle down though! Do well on those exams!

Hee, your productivity rivals mine. XD I’ve been spending the entire day trying to work on my body of work for Visual Arts, but all I’ve done is rambled, emailed, browsed, and wasted time in general. Fun!

Ahah – have to love the soup. X) That’s an interesting schedule. I should try that sometime … I’ve been trying to work on my English major project for … ten hours now. :) And I suck, because I’ve written one word. Mm. Anyway – have fun! And good luck with the … ehm … study. :)
