Ohmygosh, your entry definitely made me VERY hungry.

I've resolved never go to on a diet because I've heard my entire life that dieting never works. Depriving yourself will only make you want whatever it is more. So I just let myself eat whatever I want to and I never skip meals. I just don't eat tons of Twinkies and junk food like that, 'cause Twinkies are pretty gross anyway.

Exercising works the best--it'll burn off all the calories and make you happier!

I'm off to go eat now. ;D

Heh, I'm on a diet. Sort of. The kind where you gain weight. Although my 'plan' is awfully simple: eat three meals a day. Yes. I'm kind of pathetic when it comes to eating 'cause I'm just so lazy about these things. But then, even when I eat consistently for a set period of time, my weight doesn't do anything--it's like I don't know how to put on weight (and I don't!). And those food icons are gorgeous! *drools*

Forgive me, but I'm going to start sounding like a health magazine any moment. I've been reading too many articles from them lately because I, too have been on a diet.

Perhaps your diet isn't going as successfully as you hope it would because your definition of a diet is that everything you eat must be low-cal, low-fat, low-carb, and low-anything that is deemed a no-no. The trick is not to cut those things out of your life entirely and go cold turkey, but instead eat all of it in moderation. Treat yourself to a small slice of cake during dessert, or to a bag of chips after lunch -- just enough to satisfy your craving, but not enough to make you pack on the fat. That way you won't overeat every time you spot that is irresistibly delicious.

And of course, don't forget to exercise! I find that dieting just through eating never works because you can't lose weight without working off calories consumed. Try to fit in a 20 min exercise regiment every day. (Unfortunately, typing does not qualify as an official exercise, because otherwise I'd be 5 pounds lighter =[)

*raises hand* I am not on a diet! I never have been! I just ... always watch what I eat, I guess, but not to the extend that I count carbs or anything. I just ... eat when I'm hungry and stop when I'm not, and my weight generally fluctuates only about five pounds. If it starts to drop quite a bit, I just eat a bit more, and if it starts to raise quite a bit, I just eat a bit less. I don't know, I don't really consider this a diet because I eat what I want when I want without guilt.

Your entry is hilarious by the way. But I'm sure if you keep at it, you'll lose some weight. Don't worry so much about ... well, losing it right away - instead, focus on making it a gradual, permanent change. So ... just eat a bit less every day, and slowly lose the weight. It works for me really well, but you've just got to be patient.

Is it wrong that I laughed so hard I almost cried during this entry? Hmm.

Well, that completely shatters the obese image that 80% of Australia has of the USA. But, I mean, I probably will never go anywhere near a diet (because I'm so skinny I need to gain weight, not lose it. *mumbles incoherently*), but I think that in order to diet without depriving yourself, a little research is needed, and Jenny Craig should be a last resort. (no offence to her, but the woman scares me. Literally.) Dark chocolate's supposed to be healthy, or so I've heard, so that could be a nice avenue.

Mmmmmm. I like the sound of that dinner. And that Kinder Bueno bar ... I need to buy one. Haven't had one in ages. T_T I'm a deprived man! It could get ugly ... I think I may go and froth at the mouth now. :)

Uhm ... best of luck with the "diet"? Teheh.

The best way for me to lose weight is one day just eat apples and the next day just drink milk or some light yogurt (fat-free is better, but regular yogurt is OK). I can lose 3-5 pounds in 2 days.

Holy shit, that really works for you? I don't think I could gain/lose any noticeable amount of weight in a matter of days. I mean, like all girls, I've tried basically not eating for a couple days but it did nothing for me. In fact, my stomach actually looked bloated for some reason.
Maybe I'm allergic to not-eating.

I gotta say: your entry was definitely amusing and funny.

It's the giving into temptation thing. For me, when I "diet" (I'll use that term quite loosely), I try to cut out little things at a time. I'm a full-blown carb machine (I like my rice now...after years of hating it when I was a child).

The thing is, if you want to lose weight, it's eating healthily (not depriving yourself of anything--well, maybe oily stuff like potato chips and friend chicken, etc. but other than that, SOME dark chocolate once in a while is okay and candy is okay once in a while) AND exercising.

Exercise lots. Tone yourself and you'll be losing fat and gaining muscle mass :D

I just can't diet. One moment I'm all salad-y and diet-y, the next thing I know, I'm stuffing rice, meat and a whole lotta carbs into my mouth. Hahaha.

I LOVE KINDER EGGS! Not a big fan of Kinder Bueno, maybe coz I prefer the thrill of getting a toy inside a chocolate. I mean, what could be better than that? Not sex definitely. :P

I also have this diet saying, "if you can eat and you've got the chance and the money why deprive yourself?" Lol. I know. It's really bad.
