Yeah, even if it’s inevitable that you’ll see him at some friend’s party, I would say not to spend too much time with him.

I’m going to try to visit my grandparents in New England for Christmas, but I also wish I could spend it with Sam (which my family would consider very inappropriate…)

I’ve only browsed the Wii store at my boyfriend’s family’s house so I’m not sure how exactly you pay…but I do know that you need to buy wii dollars (by I guess via credit card?). You get to preview only the information, not the actual game. I think you can return it though (but I’m not positive so don’t trust me on this!). I’d say with games you don’t know exactly if you’ll like them, look up some reviews and stuff. That tends to help a bit.

I guess that’s true. I didn’t even think of PLB. I guess I just thought that having this crush thing would make me more sure of my feelings around MFL. But you’re right, it’s still risky.

I just know it’ll be hard to avoid him during Christmas, because of our mutual high school friends. But I guess I should still keep a safe distance even if I see him.

You’re spending Christmas with Sam? Are you not going home?

Ok, for MFL. I would say…well…no. I think it’s better just to let him go. It would be horrible if something weird happened that might mess up things with PLB. Maybe you should give it some more time.

As for me, I guess what I’d really like for Christmas is to spend a lot of it with Sam, doing Christmas-y things. ha. Oh, and cookies.

Sounds like you have some fun plans for the holidays! Definitely check out the Wii Store or whatever it’s called…it might save you some money on buying games if you don’t plan on playing much afterward. They tend to go around 5-10 dollars (500-1000 wii dollars), depending on how sophisticated it is (whether it’s an intense RPG or simple puzzle game).

As far reconnecting with MFL, I think it really depends. If you genuinely feel as though you’ll be able to re-establish your friendship with him without having mixed feelings or hurt between the two of you, then I say go try it. If you think you can’t completely separate what has happened from you trying to re-establish your friendship, then I say don’t go for it.

Ooh, make sushi, that’s a good one! I love making sushi, but it takes so long that I’ve only ever done it twice (the first time unsuccessfully). Hmm, my parents have never tried home-made sushi. Maybe I will make some for them.

I want pretty much what you said — to reconnect and spend time with friends and family, and to make and eat lots of good food. My to-do list for this Christmas break so far is as follows: “make tiramisu, make sushi, download lots of good music, make chicken pot pie.”
