Day 3: Favourite TV Show

My favourite TV show is Friends. Without a doubt. I have mentioned it countless times in my blog so let me just re-cap one more time. Friends is AWESOME.
I went through a phase in university (not too long ago) where I would watch Friends non-stop. I mean literally, this was the only thing I’d watch. I think I saw the whole 10-season series eight times before I finally put something else in my DVD player.
Friends was my constant, the thing I could count on when I got home from a long day. I would always watch it before bed so as to “change the topic” in my mind so that I wouldn’t stay awake at night with anxieties taking over my head.
My favourite character is Chandler, because I’m a sucker for nerdy, insecure guys with a sense of humour. I think I’m kind of like that, but I hide it well.
My least favourite character used to be Phoebe, because I just didn’t get her, but after watching the show so many times, I’ve developed a soft spot for her, even more so because not a lot of people like her. Monica and Rachel are so boring compared to Phoebe!
What’s your favourite TV show? Do you bond with friends over it or is it a personal thing?
Hands down, Gilmore Girls. My sister likes the show too, so we’ll watch my dvd’s together sometimes.
I’m not gonna lie, I can’t stand Gilmore Girls. There’s something about the way the characters act that I find completely unrealistic. Or maybe it’s because none of my relationships are like that that I find it hard to relate to.
But it’s great to have a show that you can enjoy with your sister.
Favorite show? It’s a toss up between The Office, Dexter, and Six Feet Under. The first one would probably win because I could watch and re-watch that show all the time, and I adore the characters like they are real people. The last two make me think in ways TV shows normally don’t, and there story lines are intriguing and different.
Dexter’s been recommended to me a couple times, I should try watching it sometime.
hmmm… That’s a toughie!
Currently my favorite show is Desperate Housewives and I do bond with the boyfriend while watching the show. He actually enjoys watching it with me. :-P
Another show I appreciate with the boyfriend is Sons of Anarchy. It’s quite a manly show, though.
I don’t really watch/discuss shows with the girlfriends, though. I don’t think they have much time in front of the television.
It’s great that you have a show that you and your bf can watch together! I never really got into Desperate Housewives but I know a lot of people like that show.
I LOVE Friends! My sister and I were obsessed with it for the longest time. We watched every episode together.
Phoebe has always been my favorite of the girls. I love how quirky and genuine she is. Out of them all, my favorite is probably Chandler, or Joey.
My favorite shows are The X-Files, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Bones, Friends, and Gilmore Girls. It’s hard to choose from those five.
Wow, Buffy the Vampire Slayer! I used to like that show too, but I haven’t watched in a loooong time.
Ahhh, I love Friends. Chandler was my favorite too. Monica used to annoy the crap out of me but then one day I realized that, of the three of them, I WAS Monica… so. Yeah. Scary.
I saw someone mention Gilmore Girls. Best show EVER.
So sad that both of these are over, but, c’est la vie.
